Description

Our team were able to design and install a Solar PV system totalling 32.0kW and a Battery Storage system totalling 38.0kWh bespoke to each of the self-catering units using the Trina All-Black Panels and GivEnergy Hybrid Inverters & Battery Storage Packs.

Throughout this project, we were able to liaise with the National Grid to ensure the installation complied with all their requirements.

The Savings

This Holiday Cottage Complex has an annual energy consumption in excess of 50,000kWh and with the installation of the new Solar PV system, we were able to reduce the energy consumption and provide them with clean electricity throughout the year.

To minimise the export of excess energy to the Grid, Solar i-Boost Load Diverters were installed to provide this Holiday Cottage Complex will provide hot water from PV generated energy for over six months of the year.
