Description

Our team worked to design and install a Solar PV system consisting of 126 Solar Panels across the roof of their cubicle shed. We were able to liaise with the National Grid and were awarded approval connection to them.

All work within this project was undertaken fully by our team, from the initial quotation acceptance to liaising with the National Grid and even organising the scaffolding - the BD team were involved from start to finish. Ready to get everything installed, as well as the certification and handover too.

The Savings

This modern Dairy Farm has an annual energy consumption in excess of 90,000kWh, and to help offset this consumption we installed the Solar PV system that totals 47.2kW

The whole system is expected to generate 32,838kWh of clean electricity every year, allowing them to save 6,972kg CO₂ of carbon - based on 55% self-consumption, this new system has a payback period of 5 years.
